Zeenat Aman Remembers Her Dance Days

This week, veteran actress Zeenat Aman took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing her thoughts on her dancing experiences in Hindi cinema. She revisited a beloved song from her 1979 film, The Great Gambler, posting a clip of 'Oh Diwano Dil Samhalo' on Instagram. Zeenat expressed that this track is her personal favorite, despite the fact that the romantic song 'Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahani' is more popular among fans. Reflecting on her dance skills, she candidly admitted that she never felt particularly confident in this area during her career. Unlike many of her peers, she lacked formal dance training, which sometimes affected how directors approached her choreography. "I’ve mentioned before that I wasn’t a very confident dancer due to my lack of formal training, unlike many actresses of my era. However, I could still 'groove,' and many directors found it easier to let me sway naturally rather than struggle with complex choreography," she shared.

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Release Delayed Again

The release of the film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, directed by David Dhawan and featuring Varun Dhawan, has been postponed for the second time. The new theatrical release date is now set for June 12, 2026, having previously been scheduled for June 5, 2026, and originally for April 10, 2026. The production team announced this change through an official statement on Instagram, explaining that the decision was made after considering recent developments in the industry. They emphasized the importance of filmmakers supporting each other rather than competing on the same release date. "We believe it’s healthier for the industry when filmmakers collaborate rather than compete unnecessarily. In that spirit, we have decided to move our film's release to June 12, allowing us to present it to audiences a week later," they stated.

Tarantino Responds to Criticism from Rosanna Arquette

Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has issued a strong response to actor Rosanna Arquette, who criticized his frequent use of the N-word in his films, including the acclaimed 1994 movie, Pulp Fiction. The controversy arose after Arquette shared her thoughts during a career retrospective interview, where she reflected on her brief role in Tarantino's Oscar-winning film. While she acknowledged Pulp Fiction's greatness, she expressed discomfort with the filmmaker's use of the racial slur throughout his work. "Personally, I am over the use of the N-word; I hate it," she stated. In response, Tarantino addressed Arquette directly, questioning whether the publicity she gained from numerous media outlets was worth disrespecting him and the film she once seemed excited to be part of. He suggested that her current stance might differ from her feelings during the project, arguing that publicly criticizing the film after accepting a role was inappropriate. "Do you feel this way now? Very possibly. But after I gave you a job, and you took the money, to trash it for what I suspect are cynical reasons shows a lack of class and honor," he remarked.
