The speculation grew even stronger because the promotional shoot was reportedly not filmed in character. According to A24, the photos and videos were taken in early February in New York City, with both Zendaya and Pattinson appearing as themselves rather than portraying their characters from the film.
As a result, fans believe the jewellery seen in the images likely belongs to Zendaya personally, rather than being a prop for the movie. In other promotional materials for The Drama, the actress portrays a character named Emma Harwood and typically wears costume jewellery provided for the role. However, the diamond ring seen in these particular images strongly resembles the engagement ring she has worn in public appearances.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach recently made comments that seemed to confirm the couple had already tied the knot.
During an interview with Keltie Knight from Access Hollywood at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, Roach appeared to reveal that the wedding had already taken place.
“The wedding has already happened. You missed it,” Roach said during the interview.

When Knight asked whether he was serious, Roach doubled down on the statement, replying, “It’s very true.”
He later repeated the claim while speaking with Nischelle Turner from Entertainment Tonight. “The wedding already happened. Y’all missed it. The wedding’s over, sorry,” he teased.
Despite Roach’s seemingly confident remarks, representatives for Zendaya and Holland have not publicly confirmed or denied the rumours. The couple has long been known for keeping their personal life out of the spotlight, rarely discussing their relationship in interviews or sharing details publicly.
The intrigue deepened further after Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, responded to Roach’s comments in a now-expired Instagram Stories post. Rather than confirming the claim, Stoermer shared a clip of the interview and wrote simply, “The laugh… 😂,” leaving fans to interpret the meaning themselves.
Interestingly, recent photos suggest the timeline of events may not be so straightforward. On February 26 — just days before Roach’s remarks — Zendaya was photographed shopping at Laurel Market in West Hollywood. In those images, she appeared to be wearing only her engagement ring, with no visible wedding band.
Engagement rumours surrounding the couple first began in January 2025 when Zendaya attended the Golden Globe Awards wearing a striking diamond ring on her left hand. The sighting immediately sparked speculation that Holland had proposed.

In a May 2025 episode of Please Explain, Roach suggested that Zendaya and Holland would likely keep any wedding entirely out of the public eye.
