5 deals Man Utd could quickly seal in January transfer window with 'offers on the table'
The January transfer window looks set to be a busy one at Manchester United. But unlike in the summer, it's outgoings that are expected to grab the most headlines.
Ruben Amorim is a year into the job and the makeup of the Red Devils' squad has already changed drastically. Several players signed by previous managers have been shifted, with more still on the chopping block.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe infamously put virtually every player up for sale in the summer which saw names such as Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony depart. With United still yet to find consistency in the Premier League, clubs chiefs are willing to offload dead wood in order to fund their ongoing rebuild.
A number of academy players are also waiting by the exit door ahead of potential departures. Even those who've already been out on loan could be on the move, too.

Joshua ZirkzeeThe most advanced potential move ahead of the window opening, Joshua Zirkzee could be a Roma player very soon. The Athletic report that a loan with an obligation to buy offer has been put on the table via intermediaries, with United now considering it.
Personal terms aren't expected to be a problem, as Netherlands international Zirkzee wants to join Roma and make a bid to play at the World Cup next summer. However, clubs-to-club talks regarding the 24-year-old haven't yet taken place.

Yet to play a minute this season, it appears that Tyrell Malacia's departure from Old Trafford is a matter of when not if. A long-term injury layoff has effectively ruined the Dutch left-back's career at United.
Malacia, 26, spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven but it wasn't made permanent. His contract with United expires in June.
Now officially recalled by United, Toby Collyer is expected to be loaned out for the second time this season once he recovers from a calf injury. The 21-year-old midfielder recently returned to Old Trafford for treatment, having been playing regular football at West Bromwich Albion.
But when he returns to fitness, Collyer won't be heading back to the Hawthorns. The former Brighton prospect is instead set to go on another temporary move.
One player who could stay with the same loan club is Harry Amass. The left-back, 18, joined Sheffield Wednesday for the first half of the season and he's been a rare bright spot at Hillsborough amid their struggles.
Amass' performances have seen other Championship clubs take notice. Wednesday are hoping to extend his stay until the end of campaign, as they battle to avoid relegation.
Having been signed by United in a deal worth up to £7million in July, Diego Leon has exclusively played in the academy after making first-team appearances during pre-season. The Paraguayan left-back is still adapting to English football, so a loan would make sense.
Still only 18, however, United may wait until next season to give Leon first-team opportunities either elsewhere on at Old Trafford. In October, the teenager earned his first senior call-up for Paraguay and made his debut against South Korea, showing how highly regarded he is after making his name at Cerro Porteno.
