6-time World Champion Seth Rollins announced for a major appearance outside WWE

Newspoint
The sporting world has often seen its players grace each other's turf with special appearances. As the December 25 Christmas NFL Game Day is set, featuring the Detroit Lions vs. the Minnesota Vikings, a major WWE superstar will be in the house as well. He is none other than the six-time WWE World Champion, Seth "Freakin" Rollins.

The Visionary has been announced as a special guest for the Game Day by Netflix Sports. He had earlier mentioned that he would be making appearances on Good Morning Football and Sunday Gameday during this NFL season. This tends to keep the former leader of The Vision in the spotlight as he continues to remain on the sidelines due to an injury.

Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins is out of action
Since WrestleMania 41, Seth Rollins has been at the top of Monday Night RAW, as Paul Heyman betrayed Roman Reigns and CM Punk that night to align with The Visionary. The next night on RAW, they added Bron Breakker to their ranks, and months later, the returning Bronson Reed also joined his faction, which came to be known as The Vision. Not only that, Rollins also managed to capture the Money in the Bank contract and successfully cashed it in on CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at WWE SummerSlam 2025.

His last televised match saw him squaring off against the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship at the namesake event in October. Although The Visionary emerged victorious in the high-stakes bout, Rollins suffered a shoulder injury while executing a coast-to-coast move on Rhodes. The following edition of RAW saw a major shocker as Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman betrayed him, with the two behemoths laying a huge assault on their former leader.

The angle was done to write off Rollins from WWE television, so that he could undergo shoulder surgery. A follow-up report stated that the former World Heavyweight Champion will be out of action for atleast six months. While the fans would see him as part of the NFL day next month, it remains to be seen when Rollins will be medically cleared to return to the squared circle.
