With this collaboration, Asian Paints now joins established names such as Campa from Reliance Industries, SBI Life, and Atomberg Technologies in the official partners segment. This growing lineup highlights how brands are increasingly turning to cricket branding to engage with the massive Indian cricket fans base that follows every Team India sponsorship announcement with interest.

According to the company’s release, the Asian Paints partnership covers men’s, women’s and domestic series held in India. As part of this sports marketing deal, the brand will roll out on-ground activities and digital interactions, including a fan cam called The Asian Paints Colour Cam to celebrate the most colourful supporters in the stadium. Another feature will be a colour countdown segment that introduces viewers to trending home decor themes, strengthening the brand’s presence through the BCCI official colour partner showcase.

Amit Syngle, managing director and CEO of Asian Paints, said this association helps the brand align even more closely with Indian households. He added that the Asian Paints partnership fits perfectly with the company’s Har Ghar vision, which focuses on adding colour and warmth to homes. Syngle noted that cricket’s huge reach across the country makes the sports marketing deal ideal for engaging Indian cricket fans, especially with the prominence of Team India sponsorship on a national scale.

Syngle also pointed out that cricket continues to remain the strongest medium of engagement across India and neighbouring countries. With Asian Paints already enjoying popularity in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal, the new Asian Paints partnership with the BCCI is expected to amplify its visibility even more. He added that while the brand is open to collaborations in other sports and formats, cricket will remain core to its sports marketing deal and approach to cricket branding for Indian cricket fans.

BCCI spokesperson Devajit Saikia welcomed the association, stating that the brand’s legacy of adding colour and emotion to people’s lives perfectly complements the spirit of Indian cricket. He said the BCCI official colour partner association will help create memorable experiences for Indian cricket fans as Asian Paints strengthens its role in Team India sponsorship and expands its presence in cricket branding.

This announcement comes at a crucial time for the sport, with two major ICC tournaments scheduled for next year. The ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and the ICC women’s T20 World Cup offer even more opportunities for the Asian Paints partnership to enhance its visibility through a high-impact sports marketing deal, further connecting with Indian cricket fans across the world.
