Reportedly, Lacob met with a frustrated NBA forward during his discussion about the contract and even asked him whether he wanted to stay here or not. Kuminga responded,

Reportedly, Kuminga has shown no interest in accepting the Golden State Warriors' longstanding $45 million deal for the upcoming two NBA seasons. The offer also includes a team option in the second season. However, a $7.9 million offer still lies on the table for Kuming with an October 1, 2025 deadline.
