After the divorce of Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, he was often linked up with social media influencer RJ Mahvash, who is currently believed to have unfollowed him. Netizens have recently found out that Chahal and Mahvash have unfollowed each other on Instagram, which has now given birth to questions regarding the type of relationship they shared.

Notably, Mahvash has been a constant with Yuzvendra Chahal since his divorce from Dhanashree Verma. Not only that, but she was even spotted in a number of places with the spinner much before the divorce was officially finalized.

Post divorce, Mahvash spoke a number of times directly and indirectly regarding the divorce issue and was seen openly taunting reference to Chala's alimony amount in a podcast with stand-up comedian Samay Raina.

There were rumors of Yuzi dating Mahvash, which he indirectly kind of indicated on the Kapil Sharma Show; however, he had officially denied it elsewhere, digging at the fans' reaction of calling her a homewrecker. Yuzi had said,

"No, there’s nothing”. “For the first time, when I was seen with someone, people started linking us right away. Even though she clarified it, it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker… people said really nasty things. I felt terrible… We could not step out together.”

 Yuzvendra Chahal marriage and divorce

Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have officially ended their marriage, with the family court in Mumbai granting their divorce in March 2025. The couple, who married on December 22, 2020, in a private ceremony in Gurgaon, had been living separately since June 2022. After nearly three years of separation, they filed for divorce by mutual consent in February 2025.

The divorce was finalized on March 20, 2025, after the Bombay High Court waived the mandatory six-month cooling-off period, taking into account Chahal’s professional commitments in the Indian Premier League. As part of the settlement, Chahal reportedly agreed to pay a permanent alimony of ₹4.75 crore to Dhanashree.

In the months leading up to the legal closure, the separation attracted significant public attention. Both Chahal and Dhanashree spoke openly about the emotional strain and mental health challenges they faced during the relationship. Dhanashree, during a reality show appearance, hinted at infidelity, while Chahal attributed their differences to incompatible professional schedules and growing personal distance.

Public scrutiny intensified when Chahal appeared at the final court hearing wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy.” While Chahal later said it was a personal statement, Dhanashree described it as unnecessary theatrics. Post-divorce, Chahal was linked to RJ Mahvash, though he has denied any romantic involvement, stating he is currently single.
