F1 Chinese GP Sprint: Russell Holds Off Leclerc and Hamilton in Shanghai Thriller

Mercedes driver George Russell delivered an impressive performance to win the Sprint race at the Chinese Grand Prix, fending off strong pressure from Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in a thrilling contest in Shanghai.

The Mercedes driver held his nerve throughout the short-format race, maintaining his advantage at the front to secure victory in the Sprint and claim valuable championship points ahead of Sunday’s main race.

Russell Controls the Race Despite Ferrari Pressure

Starting from the front, Russell quickly found himself under pressure from the Ferrari duo behind. Hamilton made a strong early move and briefly challenged for the lead, creating an intense battle at the front of the field.
