Rashid Khan Breaks RR’s Momentum
The chase of 230 proved tricky but Vaibhav Sooryavanshi got RR off to a flyer as he blasted a 16 ball 36 including three fours and three sixes. Dhruv Jurel continued the rapid scoring with 24 off 10.
It was Rashid Khan who proved to be the game-changer in the middle overs with four scalps, removing Jurel, Donovan Ferreira and Ravindra Jadeja in a critical spell of bowling. Jason Holder picked up three wickets, Kagiso Rabada also picked up two wickets while Mohammed Siraj removed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the powerplay.
Jadeja tried to stem the flow with 38 off 25, but Rajasthan kept on losing wickets and ultimately were folded for 152 in 16.3 overs. Gujarat Titans held the advantage through the course of the innings and were well on course for a crucial win in the race for the IPL 2026 playoffs.
