Jake Paul is already thinking about his next fight despite confirming he suffered a broken jaw in his bout with Anthony Joshua. The content creator lasted six rounds before being knocked out by the British boxer in Miami. The fight was slow to get going, but sparked into life with Paul breaking his jaw in two places.

Taking to Instagram, Paul shared an Xray of his injury alongside the caption: "Double broken jaw.

Give me Canelo in 10 days." Paul suggested he can still fight Canelo Alvarez despite having a broken jaw.

The Mexican star pulled out of their planned May 2025 bout to sign a lucrative multifight deal with Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.

After the fight, Paul suggested that a broken jaw was possible, claiming: "I think my jaw is broken, by the way. It's definitely broke. But that was a nice little a** whopping from one of the best to ever do it.

"I love this s***, but I'm going to come back and get a championship belt at some time.

I'm feeling good, that was fun. I love this sport. I gave it my all, It's f***ing crazy. I had a blast. I got my a** beat, but that's what this sport is about. I'm going to come back and keep on winning."

Understandably, given his injuries, Paul did not attend the postfight press conferences. In his place, Paul's righthand man Nakisa Bidarian explained: "We met with Netflix afterwards, he took a shower, and then he drove himself to the hospital.

"A broken jaw is very common in sports, particularly in boxing or MMA and I think the recovery time from doctors we've already spoken to is four-six weeks."

Meanwhile, Joshua gave Paul credit for managing to take the fight into the sixth round. "It wasn't the best performance," he admitted. "The goal was to get Jake Paul out and hurt him. Jake Paul has done really well tonight. I want to give him his props, he got up, time and time again."
