Jarrell Miller has wig PUNCHED OFF in humiliating mid-fight malfunction

Jarrell Miller suffered a moment to forget on the Teofimo Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson undercard after the heavyweight star had his hair punched off mid-fight.

The 37-year-old's fight with Kingsley Ibeh marked his first appearance in the ring since his controversial draw with Andy Ruiz Jr in August 2024. Boxing fans are always glued to their screens when watching two heavyweight behemoths trade leather inside the squared-circle.

But it was not the action itself that caught the attention of the fans. The major talking point of the contest came in the second round when Ibeh boxed off his rival's hair off - with the wig peeling off from the front and flopping all the way back. The toupee continued to flop around throughout the rest of the round, leaving fans stunned.

DAZN commentator Chris Mannix could not believe his eyes, stating: "I've never seen anything like it in boxing." Miller himself saw the funny side as he laughed off the rather embarrassing moment.

As the round came to an end, the wig hung from the boxer's head and showed baldness underneath. The 37-year-old sensationally threw his toupee into the crowd - which drew a monumental cheer. The stunning mid-fight moment did not seem to faze Miller at all as he went on to win the fight via split decision (94-96, 97-93, 97-93).

“So, it’s kinda funny, right. I get to my mama’s house, and she had some shampoo bottles under her table, and I shampooed it.That s*** was like ammonia and bleach. I nearly lost my hair like two days ago, so I called my manager: ‘Let me slap that s*** on my on head real quick.’ And [Ibeh] slapped that s*** off!" said Miller post-fight.

“But like I said, it’s funny, man. Listen, I’m a comedian. You’ve got to make fun of yourself. You can’t take life too seriously sometimes, you’ve got to roll with the punches.” Miller's hairpiece was later spotted ringside next to heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley. Miller clearly enjoyed his first win in nearly three years as he danced out of the ring with a hat on.

Unsurprisingly, the stunning moment went viral on social media. Fans were quick to have their say, with one fan commenting: "His hair has literally just come off, what have I just seen?"

Another wrote: "Genuinely a boxing record, there's no way this has ever happened before," while another user added: "His hair got hit off by Ibeh during the fight, that's genuinely incredible." Another viewer concluded: "I knew Miller was lying about his hair, what on earth! He's been exposed."
