Lewis Hamilton responds after being called 'Lewis Hamilton from Temu'

Lewis Hamilton responded with a single word after a Formula 1 enthusiast posted about her mother's amusing blunder on social media. The F1 supporter, posting as @norajooo on TikTok, uploaded the content on Wednesday, 29 October, following several messages from her mum.

The duo had visited a Tumi luggage shop in America to meet Oscar Piastri before last year's Las Vegas Grand Prix, where George Russell and Lewis Hamilton secured podium finishes. Nora's mother messaged asking who they'd encountered at the shop in 2024.

The message stated "who did we meet at Temu?", prompting Nora to respond with "What". Her mum sent three follow-up texts reading "In Las Vegas. Lewis Hamilton? Your driver?".

Nora subsequently posted an image captioned "Anyways, this was me with Louis Hamilton at Temu". However, the photo she actually shared depicted her alongside Oscar Piastri in the Tumi shop.

Thousands across the globe viewed the post, including seven-time Formula One World Championship victor Hamilton, who left a comment beneath it.

The British driver wrote "real" under the clip, which Nora claims left her feeling "unwell". She remarked: "I spent 30 minutes screaming. But I'm nonchalant. I'm super nonchalant.

"I feel like I went to the Vatican and accidently got blessed by the pope himself.

"Out of every post I have made about Sir Lewis Hamilton, he ended up commenting on the one where my mum called him Lewis Hamilton from Temu.

"Anyway, shout out to you. And I'm going to gently hold your forehead when I say this, but don't ever retire. Thank you."

Hundreds of fans flooded the comments section expressing their excitement over Hamilton's response.

One gobsmacked user exclaimed: "Girl I'm dead. Not THE Lewis Hamilton commenting."
