Kohli, who had retired from T20Is after winning the 2024 World Cup, now has bid farewell to a legendary Test career. He will now appear for India in just ODIs, aiming to play the 2027 World Cup.

This exit practically closed his highly successful innings as the Test opener and captain for India. Same as Virat, Rohit too will feature for India in One Day Internationals only.
