Liverpool 'make Arne Slot sack decision' after Mohamed Salah exit announcement

Liverpool have reportedly made a decision on Arne Slot's future following Mohamed Salah's exit announcement. The Egyptian revealed his intention to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, despite still having another year left on his contract.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 and has established himself as one of the Merseysiders' best-ever players, having won everything there is to win during his nine-year stint.

His departure represents the end of an era for the 20-time Premier League champions, who are also said to be throwing their full weight behind current boss Slot.

That's according to The Independent, who report the Reds hierarchy don't have any current plans to sack Slot, and aren't said to be exploring alternative managers at the moment. The Dutchman won the league during his first season in charge, but has faced heavy criticism this season after a string of disappointing results.
