MI were off to a flyer after their skipper Hardik Pandya opted to bat first. Ryan Rickelton slammed a quick unbeaten 123 of 55 balls in the innings. He played beautifully against the SRH bowlers. Supported by 46 from Will Jacks and 31 from Hardik Pandya, MI were able to post a large total. However, middle order failed to make use of the final overs. For SRH, Praful Hinge scalped two while Eshan Malinga, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Sakib Hussain took one each.
