Mo Salah BACK in Liverpool squad after showdown talks with Arne Slot
Mohamed Salah will return to Liverpool's matchday squad for this weekend's Premier League fixture against Brighton after holding talks with Arne Slot on Friday.
The Egypt international, 33, sent shockwaves through the football world last weekend by claiming he had been 'thrown under the bus' by the club after being benched again for the 3-3 draw with Sunderland. Salah went on to claim that he had no relationship with Slot and appeared to open the door to a sensational mid-season exit.
Liverpool and Slot responded by omitting Salah from the travelling part for the midweek game against Inter Milan, with Slot explaining in his Friday press conference that he would speak with Salah on the eve of Saturday's game with Brighton.

It's now understood that Salah will be reintegrated into Slot's matchday squad, with The Telegraph confirming the player and Slot held peace talks at the club's training ground.
The Brighton game will be the final opportunity for Slot to select Salah before the attacker heads off to the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt.
Speaking earlier in the day at the club's AXA Training Complex in Kirby, Slot confirmed: "I will have a conversation with him this morning and the outcome of that conversation will determine how it looks tomorrow.
"What I need is a conversation with him and the next time I speak about Mo should be with him and not in here. There's not much more I can say. I speak to him today and the outcome determines how things will look tomorrow."
