Paddy Pimblett trolls presenter Kate Scott with cheeky UFC jibe
Paddy Pimblett was in the mood for some fun and games merely days before his fight with Justin Gaethje after having a playful pop at Kate Scott.
Scott has teamed up with the UFC and is set to play a crucial role in the promotion's broadcast of UFC 324 on Saturday night. The 44-year-old quickly rose up the ranks before eventually becoming a hit figure for her work as a CBS Sports presenter, covering the Champions League.
The popular presenter is set to host the broadcast desk for the upcoming numbered event - which marks the UFC's first showcase under the new $7.7billion deal with Paramount. Scott will be joined alongside by Michael Bisping, Dominick Cruz and Chris Weidman.

The 'Baddy' left the team in stitches after he joked about Scott nabbing Kayrn Bryant’s role as presenter, which she seemingly lost as a result of ESPN losing UFC’s North American broadcasting rights. During the chat, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher asked the UFC star what he made of the new recruit.
“We are gonna miss Karyn Bryant,” Pimblett replied. “I can’t believe she stole her job off her.” The CBS studio burst into tears of laughter, while Scott had a slight dig at the ex-Liverpool star for attempting to cause chaos, while also playing down any feud with Bryant.
“Terrible. I’m sure Karyn will be a really big part of the coverage,” she said. “I’m the side dish. I’m dipping in and dipping out. Shut up. Jamie, what is wrong with you?”

Pimblett tends to enjoy the finer things after camp and has made a habit of gaining weight following a gruelling camp. However, this time around, he was made to make a major sacrifice by skipping christmas-dinner>Christmas dinner. The 31-year-old revealed to Scott and Co. that he will never be fighting that early in the year again.
“Yeah [it’s hard]. I’ve never fought this early before," he said. “This is the earliest I’ve ever fought. “I’m never, ever fighting in January or February ever again. I just hope everyone at the UFC knows that. Because it ruined my Christmas, ruined my birthday. So I’ll never be fighting this early in the year again.”
When is Paddy Pimblett vs Justin Gaethje?The mouthwatering showdown between Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje will take place on Saturday, January 24, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The early prelims are expected to get underway at around 10pm GMT (5pm ET / 2pm PT / 4pm CT), with the regular prelims due to start at 12am GMT on Sunday (7pm ET / 4pm PT / 6pm CT). The main card will begin at a new time of 2am GMT on Sunday (9pm ET / 6pm PT / 8pm CT).
In the main event Pimblett will likely make the walk to the cage first at around 4am GMT on Sunday (11pm ET / 8pm PT / 10pm CT), with Gaethje set to follow immediately after. The timings of all fights are subject to change and will depend on how long the undercard takes to complete.
