Rinku Singh’s Father Passes Away After Battling Stage-4 Cancer, Harbhajan Singh Shares Heartfelt Tribute
Indian cricket star Rinku Singh is mourning the loss of his father, Khanchand Singh, who passed away on Friday after a long fight with stage-4 liver cancer. Khanchand had been undergoing medical care at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida, and despite ongoing treatment, his health seriously declined in recent days before he breathed his last.

Serious Illness and Family Emergency
Reports say Khanchand Singh, who had been battling liver cancer in the advanced stage, was admitted to the hospital when his condition worsened. He had been on ventilator support as doctors worked to stabilise him. Rinku had flown home from the team camp in Chennai after learning about his father’s critical condition. He missed team training and urgent matches to attend to family matters, but later rejoined the Indian squad ahead of the crucial Super 8 match against Zimbabwe.
