Snooker scores LIVE: Frustrated Shaun Murphy causes scene as Wu Yize makes dream start

All eyes now turn to the World Snooker Championship final after the conclusion of the semifinals, with Wu Yize edging Mark Allen 17-16 in a finalframe decider at the Crucible and Shaun Murphy beating John Higgins.

Wu, 22, is chasing a maiden title and could make it backtoback wins for China following Zhao Xintong's triumph a year ago.

Murphy, meanwhile, saw off Higgins 17-15 on Friday to give himself a chance to add to his sole World Championship crown from 2005.

Murphy is into a fifth World Championship final having been runner up in 2009, 2015 and 2021.
