New Zealand cricketer Glenn Phillips has really made a name for himself, not just with his impressive batting skills but also with his fantastic fielding on the cricket pitch.

 

Recently, he showcased yet another talent by sharing a video of himself piloting a plane. Known for being one of the most acrobatic fielders, a reliable wicketkeeper, and an explosive batsman, Glenn Phillips took to the skies on Tuesday, March 17, successfully landing a light aircraft at Auckland’s Ardmore Aerodrome.

 

He posted an Instagram clip on his official account, capturing a tricky maneuver as he expertly landed the plane. Phillips is on his way to earning a commercial pilot's license. The all-rounder also mentioned that he recently had the chance to engage with students and instructors at the Ardmore flying school.

Phillips has openly shared his passion for flying, mentioning that if he had a bit more cash, he would have picked a career in aviation instead of cricket. He even hinted that being a pilot would be his top choice for a job after cricket.

 

The New Zealand cricketer has shared his deep love for flying. He mentioned that if money were no object, he would have chosen a career in aviation over cricket. Phillips has always had a strong passion for flying. He explained that if he hadn’t gone down the cricket path and had all the financial freedom in the world while growing up, he probably would have become a pilot.

 

His enthusiasm for being in the air shines through as he described his dream scenario: exploring the mountains without the constraints of a regular job, allowing him to focus entirely on his passions. If he ever needs to work after his cricket career, piloting is definitely at the top of his list.
