Tech lovers searching for a last-minute Christmas present are in luck as the latest Apple Watch hits its cheapest price ever. The deal comes from Amazon, where the Apple Watch Series 11 has dropped from £399 to £329.

The £70 discount brings the gadget down to a record low price, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel, and undercuts Apple's own £399 price tag. This particular deal is for the 46mm GPS model, which comes in a choice of Space Grey, Jet Black or Purple Fog colourways, while the Rose Gold edition comes in at £370.

The Series 11 launched in September alongside Apple's new iPhone 17 series, designed with a durable glass display that's said to be twice as scratch resistant than the previous model. It also has a water resistance rating of 50m and is IP6X dust resistant.

Alongside basic functions such as texts, calls, social media notifications and music, the Apple Watch Series 11 is packed with health and fitness features, including monitoring of steps, sleep, heart rate and blood pressure. It also offers a refreshed Workout app for tracking exercises like running, swimming and yoga.

It also comes with a three-month free trial of Apple Fitness+ worth £29.97. Apple has upgraded the smartwatch's battery too, so it can run for 24 hours with normal use, while a 15-minute fast charge delivers enough power for up to eight hours.

Shoppers looking to keep costs down can pick up the same Apple Watch Series 11 from Sky Mobile, which offers it for £13 when spreading the cost with a monthly plan. The key thing to consider here is that to get this price means signing up for a 36-month contract.

Shopping refurbished also offers a more affordable option, with Wowcher offering a selection of older models such as the Apple Watch Series 5 and Apple Watch Series 7 for £79 and £149 respectively. But the Apple Watch Series 11 has been a hit with Amazon customers, achieving a 4.5-star rating after more than 110 reviews.

One buyer said: "The amount of things you can track with this Apple Watch is invaluable. Feels comfortable, lightweight and durable. Plenty of battery life this time around and a nice sized screen."

Another said: "Beautiful watch. Does everything I want it to do - make calls, receive email notifications and fitness information. I also like how it can play music from its internal speakers."

However, the same buyer noted a minor niggle about the audio quality, adding: "While that audio is not the best, when I lie in bed I can just play a bit until I feel drowsy and click it off."

While this five-star review says: "My first Apple Watch and I'm really enjoying it. Seamless and accurate health data and useful features. Not too big and battery life lasts all day and night."
