One character who's had a major update is Fuse. He has received an overhauled Ultimate ability and now launches a mortar that detonates on impact with the ground before dispersing smaller explosives.

This enhancement will enable Fuse to dominate larger areas.

Respawn will also debut a new Hardlight mesh system within the Apex Legends universe. Hardlight is described as functioning like destructible and penetrable windows.

Whilst players can observe through the Hardlight windows whilst remaining protected, the material can also be shattered. It will automatically regenerate after some time, and can be strengthened for extra defence, reports the Mirror.
