Donkey Kong Bananza gets version 3.1.0 update on Switch 2 — see the patch notes
Nintendois on a roll this week, delivering a boatload of new content and improvements for a number of its flagship games — and now you can add Donkey Kong Bananza to the list.
Alongside an update for Mario Kart World, the first major 2026 patch for the iconic 3D platformer on Nintendo Switch 2 is available now.
It adds Polish language support, and according to the official patch notes, fixes for several issues to improve the overall experience.

This comes hot on the heels of a free Switch 2 update for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD which delivers a host of upgrades, including sharper graphics, smoother resolution, and lightning-fast load times, plus GameShare support.
Players can step into the shoes of Dixie Kong in both single-player and local co-op, while a brand-new Turbo Attack mode has also been added.
