“To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Google Pixel and to express our deep gratitude to our loyal Pixel users in Japan, we have collaborated with the creative company Heralbony to develop a Japan-exclusive model. This special model features a striking “Isai Blue” color, 256GB of storage, and comes bundled with an exclusive bumper case that highlights the beautiful flat back, as well as original stickers. Beyond its appearance, the Isai Blue model also includes a unique wallpaper created by a Heralbony-contracted artist, and an original theme pack that unifies the system’s icon colors to match. Customize your device to truly reflect your personality,” Google said on the Pixel 10a launch in Japan.

Google Pixel 10a features

Google Pixel 10a features Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone uses a 100% recycled aluminum frame and includes recycled cobalt, copper, and gold – a first for the A-series.

Google Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which Google says makes it the brightest screen in its segment and easily readable even under the harsh afternoon sun. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Google Tensor G4 chip, which also powers the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro smartphones.

When it comes to camera, Pixel 10a gets a dual camera system that houses a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera. To keep that screen powered, Google has packed in a 5,100 mAh battery, the biggest ever in an A-series phone. Google claims it can last over 30 hours on a single charge. It also supports 30W wired and 10W wireless charging.

Google is bringing the sophisticated AI tools from its "Pro" models down to the 10a. This includes:

Camera Coach: Real-time guidance to help users frame their photos like a pro.

Auto Best Take: An upgraded version of Best Take, this feature automatically picks the best faces for group photos (up to 20 people) and swaps in the best expressions for everyone.
