LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight PC specs are higher than you might think
The latest LEGO game to come from TT Games, Legacy of the Dark Knight, is a few mere months away, promising to recreate some of Batman’s most iconic moments in digital plastic brick form.
Launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, the title is set to be a popular pick among console gamers - but it’s also getting a PC release too. LEGO fans looking to pick up Batman’s latest adventure will no doubt want to make sure their PC can run the title, but those with older hardware might need to upgrade their tech for smooth framerates.
TT Games has published the sort of specs you’ll need to run LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight over on Steam. Here’s what you’ll need at a minimum and what’s recommended for the best experience.

Minimum PC requirements for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark KnightOS : Windows 11
Processor : Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Memory : 16 GB RAM
Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8 GB or INTEL Arc A770, 16GB
Storage : 50 GB available space
Additional Notes : SSD (Required)
Compared to the last LEGO game that TT Games launched, which was Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga back in 2022, these minimum requirements are a big step up. An RTX 2070 is a fairly beefy card, all things considered, although it can currently be picked up for around the £200 mark.
You’ll also need to make sure you have 16GB of RAM, although this is fairly standard for most AAA games on PC these days.
However, bear in mind that TT Games is pitching this spec as the absolute minimum you’ll need to get the new LEGO Batman running on PC. Here’s what you’ll need for the most optimal frame rate:
Recommended PC requirements for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark KnightOS : Windows 11
Processor : Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
Memory : 16 GB RAM
Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 10 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, 16 GB
Storage : 50 GB available space

TT Games reckons gamers will need a graphics card such as the RTX 3080 to get the most optimal frame rate in the Dark Knight’s collection of adventures. Paired with an Intel i7 processor, it’s looking like this could be the most graphically intensive LEGO game yet, requiring hardware that’s usually capable of pushing 4K 60fps in most titles.
The good news is that the developer has actually just amended its recommended PC requirements to be a little lower than they were before. Gamers were previously told they’d need 32GB of RAM for the best experience, and while more RAM will likely still help, the Steam listing now only requires 16GB instead.
This big jump in hardware requirements is likely due to Legacy of the Dark Knight embracing a particularly ambitious open-world Gotham, akin to Arkham Knight in lots of regards. Instead of having hundreds of characters, TT Games is instead focusing on more unique gameplay mechanics for the most iconic of Batman’s friends and foes as they embark on open-world missions from his long list of escapades.
Given the game is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, which has a little more grunt force than the PlayStation 4, it’s clear that TT Games is able to optimise the game to run on lower-powered hardware.
We’ll have to wait until the game releases fully on May 29, 2026 to find out exactly how it runs on PC.
