Mamaearth founder Varun Alagh buys 0.6% stake in company for Rs 50 crore
Varun Alagh, founder and CEO of Mamaearth parent Honasa Consumer, bought 0.6% stake in the company on Monday for Rs 50 crore, according to a stock exchange filing.
This is the second time that Alagh has picked up a stake in the Gurugram-based beauty and skincare company since its 2023 listing. He had last bought shares in Honasa Consumer in December 2024 for Rs 4.6 crore.

Honasa’s shares ended trading 2.7% up at Rs 276 on the BSE on Monday.
With the latest transaction, Honasa’s promoters — which includes Alagh, cofounder Ghazal Alagh and their family members — now own 35.54% stake in the company, compared to 34.97% as of September 30.
This is the second time that Alagh has picked up a stake in the Gurugram-based beauty and skincare company since its 2023 listing. He had last bought shares in Honasa Consumer in December 2024 for Rs 4.6 crore.
Honasa’s shares ended trading 2.7% up at Rs 276 on the BSE on Monday.
