OnePlus has expanded its mid-range Nord series with the launch of the new OnePlus Nord 6 in India. The smartphone brings updates over its predecessor across performance, battery, and display, including a 9,000mAh battery, a 165Hz AMOLED screen, and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It also includes AI-backed features, improved connectivity, and durability-focused design elements. The company is positioning the smartphone as a performance-oriented option in its segment, with features such as high-refresh-rate gaming support and long battery life. OnePlus Nord 6 launched in India: Pricing, launch offers and availability
The Nord 6 is set to hit the shelves starting April 9 and will be available via both online and offline channels. The pricing for the Nord 6 starts at Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 41,999. The device is scheduled to go on open sale at 12 PM IST on April 9 on Amazon, the OnePlus website, the OnePlus store app, and offline retail stores.
As part of launch offers, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank credit card users can avail discounts of up to Rs 3,000 on eligible transactions. With these offers, the effective prices are Rs 35,999 and Rs 38,999, respectively. Buyers can also opt for up to six months of no-cost EMI on select cards.
The company has also launched two more devices: the Nord 6 exclusive Sandstone Magnetic Case, priced at Rs 799, and the OnePlus SUPERVOOC 100W Dual Ports GaN Power Adapter, priced at Rs 3,199. Both these accessories will also be available from April 9, 12 noon IST, via oneplus.in and the OnePlus Store app.

Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, backed by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device supports up to 165 fps and features the Touch Reflex Chip, a touch sampling rate of 3200Hz, and a 6-axis gyroscope, making it easier to handle while playing games.
It features a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 1800 nits high brightness mode and up to 3600 nits peak HDR brightness. The display also supports Aqua Touch 2.0 for use in wet conditions and 3840Hz PWM dimming for low-light scenarios.
The phone includes a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging support. It also offers bypass charging for sustained performance and 27W reverse wired charging for powering other devices.
For photography, the device comes with a 50MP Sony main sensor with dual-axis optical image stabilisation and a 32MP front camera. It supports 4K video recording at 60fps and includes AI-based tools such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reframe, and AI Detail Boost.
The Nord 6 runs on OxygenOS 16 and includes AI features such as real-time translation, AI Writer, AI Scanner, and integration with Google Gemini. It also introduces AI Mind Space, which allows users to save and organise on-screen content.
In terms of durability, the phone carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification. Connectivity features include a G2 Wi-Fi chip and support for 5G-Advanced networks.
