Plusnet is paying customers £100 if they switch from their current provider, but the deal ends in hours. To get the deal, customers just need to sign up for Plusnet's Full Fibre 900 plan.

This is the provider's fastest broadband, delivering an average download speed of 900Mb for £33.99 per month. Anyone signing up for this package can claim a reward card preloaded with £100 to spend online and in many high street stores and supermarkets displaying the Mastercard symbol.

However, there are only hours left to get the deal before it expires on Wednesday, April 15. Plusnet dishes out reward cards with its cheaper broadband packages too, with options including £25 with Full Fibre 145 and £50 with Full Fibre 300.

Plusnet also charges no activation fee with any of these 24-month broadband-only contracts, which require no phone line. It's also part of the One Touch Switch scheme, meaning customers don't have to contact their current provider to process the changeover.

However, note that Plusnet has confirmed its monthly broadband prices will rise by £4 each year on March 31 in the usual annual price increase. The same applies to rival providers like BT, which is offering three months of free fibre broadband in its own giveaway.

These are a little more pricey than Plusnet, starting at 74Mbps for £31.99 after the promotional period. Elsewhere, Virgin Media's fibre broadband starts at 132Mbps for £23.99, but this brand provides less coverage than those on the Openreach network, such as BT and Plusnet.

Plusnet has been named a Which? Recommended broadband provider and Uswitch's best broadband provider for customer service. It's also earned high praise on Trustpilot, where one five-star review says: "Easy transfer, great customer service and excellent speeds."

Another says: "Easiest changeover ever. I have to say, as a former telecommunications engineer, this was the easiest and seamless changeover I've ever had with a provider. Plug and play and easy controls for setup of own equipment."

Despite praising Plusnet's speeds and customer service, this customer knocked a star off their review for a delay in activation. They said: "Recently swapped from Sky, speeds are better and so far customer service is too. Let me know when it should have been swapped over (was a day late), but other than that, all good."

Nevertheless, another glowing review says: "Been with Plusnet for about ten years, never had a problem, and I've moved twice. Everything has always been fantastic, and the service has never gone down. Customer service is also nice, helpful people."
