PS Plus May 2026 free games: EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang, and Nine Sols land May 5
Sony has announced the three free games hitting PlayStation Plus in May 2026. EA Sports FC 26 , Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols will all be claimable by every PS Plus tier—Essential, Extra, and Premium—starting May 5. It's a genuinely varied lineup. Football fans get the latest entry in EA's post-FIFA reboot, Soulslike lovers get one of the better action RPGs from 2025, and indie platformer fans get one of the most polished Metroidvanias in recent memory.
Three games, three very different experiencesEA Sports FC 26 lands on both PS5 and PS4, packing 20,000-plus players across 750-plus clubs and 35-plus leagues. PS Plus members also get a bonus Icons Pack for Football Ultimate Team, redeemable while the game is part of the monthly lineup.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a PS5 exclusive set during the final years of China's Ming Dynasty. You play as a female pirate warrior who wakes up with no memories—and then discovers she's slowly turning into a monster. The combat is fluid and the world interconnected, in classic souls-game fashion.
Nine Sols rounds out the month with Sekiro-style deflection combat wrapped in a hand-drawn, lore-dense 2D world. It also received a substantial update last year that expanded the experience considerably.
One deadline worth keeping in mind: April's games—Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I–III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream—leave the library on May 4.
