Sky just made Apple's brilliant new MacBook seem even more affordable
Apple has finally announced a new MacBook, which finally makes owning one of these portable PCs way more affordable. The latest MacBook Neo is now on sale and starts from just £599 - that's £500 less than the new M5 MacBook Air. For that low price, you get a premium design, a bright 13-inch Liquid Retina screen, decent battery life and a solid keyboard. It also comes in four fruity colours, including Silver, Citrus, Indigo and Blush.
To help keep costs down, the Neo is powered by an A18 Pro chip that's usually found in Apple's smartphones.
As you can read in our full MacBook Neo review, this is a very capable laptop that's perfect for anyone who simply wants to send some emails, browse the web, edit home movies and watch boxsets on the move.
Apple's £599 price is already enticing, but Sky has now launched an offer which makes things look even more affordable.
The firm is selling the MacBook Neo on contract for just £12.50 per month. That deal even comes with a SIM card that includes 100MB of data for free.

It's a very low cost, but there are some things to note. Firstly, you will need to sign up for a 48-month contract and there is a £24 upfront fee to pay.
If you do some quick sums, you'll see there's a total of £624 to pay over the term, which is slightly more than purchasing the laptop outright.
That £12.50 price is also for the more basic 256GB version, which doesn't include a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the keyboard.
To get that added bonus (which we highly recommend), you'll need to get the 512GB storage version, which costs £15 per month.
It's not just Sky and Apple selling the new Neo, with stores including Argos, Currys and Amazon also now stocking this more wallet-friendly device. In fact, Amazon has already applied a discount meaning you can grab the Neo for just £569.97 - saving 5 percent
