Spotify down LIVE: Major music streaming service issues statement amid outage

Hundreds of Spotify users have taken to the internet to complain about issues when trying to use the music streaming platform. More than 30,000 people went on the site Downdetector to flag problems they were experiencing with the service.

One wrote: "How am I supposed to survive finals without my hype playlist?" Another added: "Can't even get my stuff to load." Amid the outage seemingly being experienced by many, Spotify Status issued a statement on X, reading: "We're aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!"
