Swiggy increases platform fee to Rs 17.58 from Rs 14.99
Food delivery platform Swiggy has increased the platform fee it charges users to Rs 17.58 from the current Rs 14.99 per order, including GST.
This comes days after rival Zomato hiked its platform fee by Rs 2.40 per order to Rs 14.90 before GST. Including GST, users will now pay Rs 17.58 per order.
In August 2025, Swiggy had hiked the fee to Rs 14 from Rs 12 in certain geographies amid a surge in orders. Platform fee is a flat charge that customers of these platforms pay on their food delivery orders.
Food delivery is the primary cash-generating business for these companies, even as both leaders continue to expand their quick commerce businesses amid intense competition.
