For swimmers who want to enjoy their favourite music while doing lengths, there's a spectacular deal on a popular pair of headphones. The Shokz OpenSwim headphones are currently 35% off on the QVC website, with the price dipping to £89 from the original £139 thanks to an early Christmas deal.

The OpenSwim allows swimmers to enjoy music in and out of the water, thanks to bone conduction technology that delivers users' soundtrack comfortably without the need for earbuds.

They're perfect for swimmers, runners or anyone wanting freedom from wires. These headphones stay secure even with swim caps or goggles, providing hours of hands-free, underwater listening. They're IP68 water resistant, which means they allow total submersion up to 2 metres. They also come with eight hours of battery life, which is perfect for long workout sessions, and 4GB of built-in MP3 storage for up to 1200 songs.

One important thing to note is that these aren't Bluetooth compatible, and all the songs need to be stored on the device and cycled through. They are also open-ear headphones, which means that the sound is limited compared to in-ear headphones.

However, there are alternatives to choose from, especially for runners or swimmers. Amazon shoppers can pick up the Guudsound headphones that are also IP68 resistant for £33.99. There's also the less resistant Apple AirPods 4 from Argos for £99 - suited towards runners and not swimming.

Coming back to the OpenSwim, shoppers have been raving about the headphones since using them. One reviewer said: "I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it daily for my swims. It's a great gadget for enhancing my swims. They charge quickly and easily.

"It holds plenty of tunes and is dead easy to reload fresh tunes if you want to ring the changes. Just superb and does exactly what it says on the tin."

Another user said: "Absolutely fabulous piece of kit for swimmers. I used to get so bored whilst doing my laps, but with these headphones, the hours pass in no time, and I feel really entertained and relaxed. Super easy to use. Have recommended them to all my friends. They also stay out, and the sound quality is great for a very reasonable price".

Not everyone was happy, however, especially with needing to scroll past each song. One user said: "Not impressed, can not change to different albums without going through each song."
