UPI AutoPay Cutting Money Silently? Here’s the Easy Way to Stop It Instantly
Have you ever received a sudden message about money being deducted from your UPI account and wondered why? You’re not alone. Millions of users forget to turn off AutoPay on apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, or recharge platforms. Even after deleting the app, subscriptions keep charging your account every month. The good news is, you can stop all unwanted AutoPay deductions in minutes using an official NPCI portal.
If UPI deductions keep surprising you, it’s time to check your AutoPay mandates. The NPCI portal makes it quick, safe, and effortless to control your subscriptions. A few minutes here can save you hundreds or even thousands of rupees every year.
Why AutoPay Becomes a Problem
AutoPay is designed for convenience. Once you subscribe to a service, payments happen automatically so your access never breaks. But the real issue starts when subscriptions are forgotten. Small amounts like ₹100, ₹200, or even ₹1,000 quietly get deducted every month, adding up to a big loss over time. One Portal to Track All AutoPays
To fix this, NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) has created a secure government portal where all your UPI AutoPay mandates appear in one place. You don’t need to open every app individually anymore. This single dashboard shows every active AutoPay linked to your UPI account. You may also like

How to Check Your AutoPay Subscriptions
- Open your mobile or laptop browser and search upihelp.npci. This will take you to NPCI’s official UPI website, which is completely safe and government-backed.
- Log in using the mobile number linked to your UPI account. Once logged in, click on “Show My AutoPay Mandates.” Instantly, you’ll see a full list of active AutoPays.
See Where Your Money Is Going
Each AutoPay entry clearly shows the app or service name, the amount being deducted, and since when the mandate has been active. For example, if you once subscribed to Netflix’s ₹649 plan but no longer use it, you’ll spot it here immediately.Pause or Revoke in One Click
Next to every AutoPay, you’ll find two simple options: Pause and Revoke.- Pause temporarily stops the payment and can be restarted later.
- Revoke permanently cancels the AutoPay. You’ll need to set it up again if you want the service in the future.
