WhatsApp to Introduce Smart Sticker Suggestions While Typing Messages

WhatsApp is getting ready to make conversations quicker and more fun. The messaging platform is testing a new feature that suggests stickers as users type, helping them react instantly without breaking the flow of a chat. The update is currently rolling out to a small group of beta users on iOS, after earlier testing on Android.

Stickers, Right Where You Type

The idea is simple but effective. Instead of opening the sticker tray and scrolling endlessly, users will soon see sticker suggestions appear directly near the message bar. As you type an emoji, WhatsApp scans its sticker library and instantly suggests matching stickers, much like how Snapchat handles quick reactions.

How It Works in Real Time

During beta testing, the feature shows sticker suggestions the moment an emoji is typed. If a suitable sticker is available, it pops up beside the text field. With just one tap, the sticker is sent. This cuts down extra steps and makes chats feel faster and more natural, especially for users who prefer stickers over words.
