Zomato Increases Platform Fee to ₹14.90 per Order from ₹12.50

Food delivery giant Zomato has increased the platform fee it charges customers, raising it from Rs 12.50 to Rs 14.90 per order.

This marks a hike of Rs 2.40 per order, according to details available on the company’s app. The platform fee is calculated on a pre-GST basis and is added to every food delivery order.

Another Price Hike After September 2025

The latest increase is not the first. The previous revision took place in September 2025, when the platform fee was raised to Rs 12.50.

With the new update, the fee now stands at Rs 14.90 per order, reflecting a steady upward trend in pricing over time.

Competition Heats Up in Food Delivery Space

Zomato’s rival Swiggy is currently charging a platform fee of Rs 14.99 per order after including taxes.
