IAF Rescues Two Children Stranded On Water Tank in Siddharthnagar, UP Using Mi-17 Helicopter

A dramatic rescue operation was carried out in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh, after two children were left stranded on top of a water tank for nearly a day. The incident occurred after the ladder of the structure was reportedly damaged, leaving them unable to descend safely.On receiving a request from state authorities, the Indian Air Force deployed a Mi-17 V5 helicopter from the Central Air Command to conduct the rescue mission.In a swift and precise operation, IAF personnel successfully evacuated both children and brought them to safety. The Air Force stated that the mission reflects its continued commitment to saving lives and responding rapidly during emergencies.
