India-Linked LPG Tanker MT Sarv Shakti Heads To Visakhapatnam After Crossing Hormuz

An India-linked LPG tanker, MT Sarv Shakti, has crossed the Strait of Hormuz amid a weeks-long US blockade that had nearly halted traffic in the region. Carrying 46,313 tonnes of LPG, the vessel is headed to Visakhapatnam and is expected to arrive on May 13. The shipment, enough to meet nearly half a day’s demand in India, could help ease supply constraints caused by the ongoing West Asia tensions. Chartered by Indian Oil Corporation, it is the first India-linked tanker to navigate the route in recent weeks.
