Authorities have now introduced enhanced safety measures, including strict police verification of all tourism service providers such as pony wallahs and vendors. A QR code-based identification system has also been implemented, allowing visitors to instantly verify service providers’ credentials. Officials say these steps are aimed at ensuring transparency, improving security, and restoring tourist confidence in the scenic valley.
