More than 300 people are under arrest and seven FIRs are registered after the workers’ protest in Noida turned violent. Police are carrying out continuous route marches since early morning to keep the situation under control and maintain law and order. The Police Commissioner says that in the last two days, several WhatsApp groups are created using QR codes to mobilise workers, suggesting the possible role of an organised network behind the protest. He also says that people accused of inciting violence are identified and arrested, and further action is now underway.
