The Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its attack on Arvind Kejriwal after Raghav Chadha and six other Rajya Sabha MPs exited the Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi minister Parvesh Verma accused Kejriwal of projecting simplicity while allegedly leading a luxurious lifestyle. The BJP released visuals of what it called “Sheeshmahal 2” and raised questions over Kejriwal’s residence at 95 Lodhi Estate. Verma claimed that the original “Sheesh Mahal” was built during the Covid crisis when Delhi faced severe hardship. He further alleged that Kejriwal’s political focus shifted to Punjab after electoral setbacks in Delhi, adding pressure on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The BJP also questioned AAP’s internal functioning and alleged growing dissatisfaction within the party.
