Security alert in Punjab after Jalandhar and Amritsar blast incidents

In Jalandhar, a parked scooter exploded near the Border Security Force (BSF) Headquarters in a high-security zone late last night. The area was immediately cordoned off and police launched a detailed investigation. Sources suggest that a National Investigation Agency (NIA) team is en route to assist in the probe. In another incident, a blast was reported around 10:50 PM in the Khassa cantonment area of Amritsar.
