‘Stop Poking Nose In India’s Internal Affairs’: JKSA Slams Pakistan Over Jamia Protest Remarks
The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) has strongly condemned remarks made by Pakistan regarding recent protests at Jamia Millia Islamia, stating that India’s internal matters are sovereign and not open to outside interference. National Convenor Nasir Khuehami said Pakistan’s comments were unwarranted and an attempt to interfere in India’s domestic issues, adding that it has no right to comment on university developments. He stressed that differences within campuses are part of a democratic system and must be resolved through institutional and constitutional channels. JKSA also highlighted Jamia Millia Islamia’s legacy as a historic institution linked to India’s freedom struggle and democratic values. The association underlined that India has strong constitutional safeguards and does not require external advice on its internal affairs.
