UAE Visit: Jaishankar Conveys PM Modi’s Thanks, Highlights India’s Role In Regional Stability

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, on his visit to the UAE, spoke about the “intense conflict” unfolding in West Asia amid the collapse of US-Iran talks. He held high-level meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed and other top leaders, carrying a message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussing key aspects of the India-UAE strategic partnership, including energy and trade. Jaishankar also prioritised the safety of the Indian community in the region, engaging directly with diaspora representatives and conveying their concerns to UAE leadership. He described the regional situation as complex, highlighting active diplomacy and the importance of continued dialogue between trusted partners.
