‘Will Take It To Kolkata’: Pak Minister Khawaja Asif’s Fresh Threat After Rajnath's Stern Warning
Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned India of a strong response to any “misadventure,” saying Islamabad could target Kolkata if provoked. Speaking to reporters in Sialkot, he also alleged that India may attempt a “false flag” operation, though he offered no evidence to support the claim. Asif suggested such an operation could involve local operatives or Pakistanis in Indian custody. Earlier, he had said Pakistan’s response would be “swift, calibrated, and decisive.” His remarks came after India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh warned that any provocation from Pakistan would invite an “unprecedented and decisive” response, amid tensions following last year’s Pahalgam attack.
