Love Insurance Kompany Becomes Pradeep Ranganathan’s First Box Office Flop

Directed by Vignesh Shivan, who is Nayanthara’s husband, Love Insurance Kompany aka LIK received mixed responses from the critics as well as the audience and the same is reflected in its below par box office biz.

The movie opened to Rs 7.75 crore in India and dropped more than 50 percent on its first Monday.

In week one, the movie made Rs 34.75 crore in India and further witnessed big drop in collection earning just Rs 1 crore on day eight. The 8-day box office biz of LIK

now stands at Rs 35.75 crore, as per Pinkvilla.

The movie is expected to end its second weekend with Rs 39 crore Indian biz.

It seems difficult for the movie to hit Rs 50 crore in India going by current box office trending.

At the worldwide box office, however, LIK has hit Rs 50 crore gross.
