The makers of Governor: The Silent Saviour have shared character posts for the movie, featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Adah Sharma. Slated for a release on June 12, the movie’s film title reveal took place on Bajpayee’s birthday, and well, the fans are sure intrigued now.

have been shared on social media, which offer a first look at the cast, while also showing how Manoj’s character is going to be the key to everything happening in the film.

Interestingly, one of the lines from the captions and posters that caught everyone’s attention, too, was “This was a war. There were no armies. Just one man who refused to let a nation fall.”

Meanwhile, a bunch of posters have all different taglines, including “Ab Bari Meri Hai”, “I Will Not Let India Fail”, and “India Is On The Verge Of Bankruptcy, He Saw It Coming”, among others. This gives us an idea about the film’s narrative and how the movie will focus on the economic distress that India faced back in the day.

Fans have also been reacting to the posters, with some excited to see Manoj, while a few are pointing out how he shouldn’t have done the movie, among other things. One user wrote, "Sirji aapki har movie alag hoti hain aur aapka usame kaam toh Super se Upar hota hain. Keep entertaining us. Thank you."

Someone also wrote, “Oh my god another propaganda, didn’t expect this from you @bajpayee.manoj. This film is going to be a flop mark my words and I am unfollowing you because you don’t have a voice to stand against this bullying.” Another user wrote, “Sir you should have protested against makers for putting that first slide...those two films are definitely not to be proud of and mention that we are makers of those films.” Another user questioned, “Is this about Dr. Y.V. Reddy or Dr Raghuram Rajan?” Another comment said, “Manoj sir logo ki parwah mat karna.....u r the best."

Governor: The Silent Saviour is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Sunshine Pictures and is directed by Chinmay Mandlekar. Written by Suvendu Bhattacharyjee, Saurabh Bharat, Ravi Asrani, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the movie’s music has been composed by Amit Trivedi, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
