Ranveer's Dhurandhar 2 Nears Rs 600 Cr In 8 Days; Beats Pathaan, Animal Lifetime Box Office

The latest Bollywood release Dhurandhar: The Revenge has crushed the box office and has broken all records when it comes to week one box office.

The movie directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt is now nearing Rs 600 crore at the domestic box office in just 8 days including paid previews.

continues its box office reign as it made a massive Rs 42 crore on its day eight taking its 8-day extended week one including paid previews to an earth-shattering Rs 570.50 crore in India.

This means, Dhurandhar 2 has now taken down the lifetime domestic biz of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan (Rs 543 crore), Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal (Rs 556 crore)and Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava

(Rs 570 crore).

By day nine, Dhurandhar 2 will take down Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 and will head towards taking down Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan and Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Dhurandhar 2 is expected to be the second biggest domestic Hindi grosser of all time by its second Sunday i.e. day 11.

And will then take down Dhurandhar to become the top grossing movie in Hindi cinema.

Moreover, it will also become the first Bollywood movie ever to hit Rs 1000 crore net in India.

At the worldwide box office, Dhurandhar: The Revenge

has made Rs 981 crore and will soon zoom past Rs 1000 crore mark.

The espionage action thriller is expected to end its run earning over Rs 1500 crore, globally which would make it the fourth biggest Indian movie at the worldwide box office behind Aamir Khan’s Dangal, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule.
