Tragic School Shooting in Brazil Claims Two Lives
A heartbreaking shooting incident occurred at a public school in Acre, Brazil, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to two others on Tuesday. The event unfolded at Instituto Sao Jose, located in the state capital, Rio Branco. Authorities reported that a 13-year-old student confessed to executing the attack. The deceased victims were female staff members, both of whom were declared dead at the scene. Additionally, a staff member and an underage student sustained injuries and were promptly transported to a hospital for medical care.
The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed by the authorities. Police have confirmed the apprehension of the suspect, and it was revealed that the firearm utilized in the shooting belonged to a legal guardian. Reports from local media suggest that the weapon was owned by the teenager's stepfather, who has also been taken into custody.
