1. Spreading fake news and rumours

Forwarding messages on WhatsApp is common. But if your forwarded message contains rumors, hate speech, or misinformation, it can lead to serious trouble. In India, spreading fake news is a punishable offense under various sections of the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

2. Sending objectionable photos and videos
